The Final Four

Byron, Emily, Luba,
Dima, and Nastya
It's so crazy to think that we will be leaving Ukraine in just four short days. We will really miss Ukraine, and if the Lord allows, we'll hopefully be back here in just a few months.

Sometimes I feel really sad when I think about everyone we'll be leaving in Colorado, but the Lord has been faithful to give us fellowship with believers here in Ukraine during this trip, reminding us that we won't be here alone, but we'll be part of the Body of Christ here too.

Just a few of the friends the Lord has encouraged us with lately are Dima, Nastya, and Luba. We had met these three last summer and got to see them again last night. Praise the Lord Byron's headache wasn't too bad last night because we really wanted to see them, and if he had gotten a full blown migraine, we would have been forced to
cancel.

We had dinner with our friends and saw a bit of the city afterwards. Byron and I were so encouraged by the fellowship we had last night... During dinner we talked about prayer and the models of prayer that the Bible gives us. Dima even shared with us about a sermon he had recently heard about prayer that encouraged him and taught him a lot about praying.

I'm pretty sure one of the coolest things to experience is seeing young people of fire for the Lord that live in other countries and

speak other languages than we do. Sometimes I forget how big God is... That He's not the God of one specific country or language, but
He loves the whole world and died for everyone, not just a
privileged few. What a good God we serve!

We've also been really encouraged by Kevin and Debbie (the couple we're staying with). They've been missionaries in Russia and Ukraine for years, and they has so much wisdom and Godly advice... It's really been a blessing for us to spend time with them.

Now, the question you're probably asking is, "so, are you for sure moving or not at this point, and where are you moving to?"

We feel like we've heard a pretty clear answer from the Lord about that, but we want to talk to our parents and the people we've been staying with here in Ukraine before we announce our final decision. So, you can expect a definitive answer once we're back in the states : )

Hope you all are doing well!

God Bless,
Emily and Byron
