Hey friends and family,
We just wanted to do a quick post to let you know what's been going on. Things have literally been crazy the last few weeks. We had no idea so much goes into getting ready to move. With saying goodbye to friends, family, and so many other things, our days have become really packed.
Byron's last day working at PF Chang's is this Friday, September 14th. Then, we head off to Kansas to say goodbye to Byron's grandparents. After we get back from Kansas, it'll be September 19th, and we'll only have 11 days left in the US. Our last week here, we're trying really hard to keep our schedule totally open so that we can spend time with our immediate family.
We just can't believe that this move is finally becoming a reality... After years of praying about moving to Ukraine and feeling like time was creeping along, we're now in a place where time is racing, and we can barely catch our breath
We want to thank you all for praying for us so faithfully over the last few months. As you continue to pray for us, we ask that you pray for:
-The Lord to continue giving us wisdom as we step out in faith
-Safety for our traveling
-A smooth move and transition into our new life
-For us to not be anxious or nervous in the days to come
-For strength as we leave our loved ones
We also want to invite those of you nearby to a lunch we're having at our church, Calvary Aurora, on September 23rd at 1pm. We will briefly be speaking, as will our missions pastor, Dave. It's a free lunch, but we do appreciate donations. Space is limited, so please let us know if you'd like to attend. To RSVP, shoot us an email:

Our next update will be coming during our last week here in the States... In the mean time, we hope you know how much we appreciate your prayers and support.
God Bless,
Emily and Byron
