We're excited to announce, we've officially had 4,000 hits on our blog! We're not really sure how so many people became interested in our blog, but we're proclaiming the goodness of God in it all because He's the reason why we write, and He's the reason why we are in Ukraine. To all of our readers, thank you for being committed to staying in touch with us and praying with us for Ukraine, for missions around the world, and for the Lord's will to be done. And, if you promise to continue reading, we promise to continue chronicling our journey, in the name of the Lord.
For awhile now, we've been praying about putting our testimonies on here, but we haven't had time to sit down and write that much information out... But we feel like the time is right, and we're beginning to work on our written testimonies. The first one will be up here on Friday (if you were hoping for a testimony today, we're sorry for the let down!), and we'll both tell our individual stories of how God changed our lives.
In the mean time, as we write away here in Ukraine, we are also hosting some friends in our apartment. Right now, we have 5 guys staying with us. It's such a blessing to serve these brothers in Christ... They're here in Ternopil doing some recording with our worship pastor, and the Lord has blessed us with enough room in our apartment to let people stay with us when there's a need. Please lift up Josh, Alex, Sasha, Evan, and David, that their time here in Ternopil will be fruitful, that they'll get all the work done that they need to get done, and that we (Byron and Emily) will be a blessing to them as they stay with us.
We also want to ask for your prayers for us, as we prepare to go to Kaharlyk this weekend. Byron will be teaching there on Sunday, so please pray for him as he studies and prepares. We'll be taking the train to Kiev, and then a bus ride to Kaharlyk. As you know, we don't have the best track record when it comes to trains and buses, so please pray that we'll have safe, uneventful travels!
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, and make His face shine upon you.
Blessings,
Byron and Emily
