Slide of Death

The city of Ternopil turns the water supply off every once and a while. And this week has been one of those weeks. Our water has been off for a couple days now and unfortunately I was already running on a few days without a shower. Currently Emily is making me sleep out on the balcony because I stink so bad :/ (Just kidding).

We're leaving for Kiev tomorrow evening for the Calvary Chapel National conference of Ukraine. I'm hoping that the water comes back on before tomorrow night so that I can shower. I'm sure the people I'll be sleeping next to on the train would also appreciate if I could get a shower in before then too.

I just wanted to make a blog post really quick to keep you all updated this week. After the conference, we will be heading to the USA for three weeks. My sister is getting married and we're getting really excited to see family, friends and our church family at CC Aurora! Please be in prayer for our travels (both to Kiev for the conference and flying to Denver on May 3rd). 

Also, the weather has been warming up nicely here and we've really been enjoying the sun. Emily and I spent some time the other day down at the Ternopil lake and park. Perhaps you have heard that the post-Soviet playgrounds aren't exactly child-friendly here. We made a short video that we think you may enjoy. Click the green link below:
