After 32 long hours of transit, we have finally arrived in Ternopil! Byron and I were talking a lot on the plane about how we wish Ukraine and Colorado were somehow the same place because when we're in Colorado, we long for Ukraine, and when we're in Ukraine, we miss Colorado.
All in all, we were really blessed with safe travels as we headed back to Ukraine. Even on the train (and you all know by now how anxious I get about the train), things went really well. Actually, the train was the best part of the trip. I hadn't been able to sleep at all on the airplane, so as soon as I got on the train, I crashed. I slept straight from 6:30pm until we arrived in Ternopil at 1:45am (of course, now I wish I hadn't slept so much because it's 3am here, and I am not tired in the slightest!).
So now that we're back, we have upcoming ministry at the forefront of our minds, and we have one pray request that is particularly important:

All of our bags made it safely to Ukraine except for the baseball bag with all of the bats, balls, and gear we need to do our baseball camp this summer. The airport said that it should arrive in Kiev tomorrow and then our bag would be shipped to Ternopil. However, we were planning the baseball camp for June 10-14, which will only work if our bag shows up before then. This was a huge bummer to us, but we know it's in the Lord's hand. And if the bag never shows up, and we lose all of that gear, it just means that this summer isn't the summer that we're supposed to do this camp, and we'll just try again next year. Of course, we really want the camp to happen, and we've been looking forward to it for a few months now, but we're really ok with whatever the Lord does.
So, if you could please pray for the Lord's will to be done with the baseball camp and our lost baseball bag, we'd appreciate it so much!
Thank you for all of your prayers over the last few days. We could definitely feel it, and we're so blessed by you guys!
Lots of love from Ukraine,
Emily (and Byron too!)
