We Leave Tomorrow!

Hey everyone!

The day has finally arrived... We begin our trek to Ukraine tomorrow morning at 3am!

Emily and I were just talking about how exactly 1 year ago, we came home from a summer mission trip from Ukraine and almost immediately began trying to figure out how we could go back to Ukraine again. The Lord has been so faithful to draw close to us, as we've been seeking after Him. It's awesome to see how He's giving us the desire of our heart, which is to be in Ukraine.

The Lord's hand has been evident in all of our preparation, which is so cool. Just a quick story... Tonight we had our last Russian lesson until we return to the States in mid-July, and the Gordons (our adopted Russian parents and their kids) prayed for us right before we left. Emily and I get in the car and she checks her email on her phone, and excitedly announces that she had an email from Calvary with a picture of a check for $500 that was just donated to us - which is exactly how much money we were short for this trip.

It's just crazy how the Lord is working in our lives right now. Thank you for all of your prayers and interest in what God's doing in our lives.

If you're interested in praying for us while we're on our "Fact Finding" trip, here is a prayer itinerary that we came up with:
