Hello DC!

We made it through the first leg of our trip safely. We arrived in DC yesterday at 11:30am, and Byron's aunt, Allyson, and her daughter, Audrey, picked us up from the airport.

They have been so sweet and hospitable to us, and we are so thankful to have his layover to hang out with them here in DC. They took us to the Spy Museum yesterday, and today we're going to the Holocaust Museum.

We also get to see some of Byron's cousins for lunch today.We are flying out of DC at 5pm tonight, and will arrive in Moscow the next day at 11am. Please pray for us during this time... This will be the hardest part of our trip.

We have a long layover in Moscow, so we'll be exhausted, jet lagging, and trying to adjust to everything being in Russian.Our next update will be in Ukraine!
