З Новим роком!

Happy New Year Everyone!

We hope that you were able to celebrate the New Year with family and friends and we're praying that the Lord really makes himself known to you in this upcoming year.

We had a great time celebrating New Year's here in Ukraine. It's quite the exciting holiday in this country. We spent the evening with our church family praising the Lord, fellowship, and of course eating amazing food at Pastor George's home. Once the night got late, us "young" people spent some time in the center of Ternopil where the main festivities were taking place. Finally, we ending the celebration by staying up all night at our apartment playing games and eating more food. Emily made everyone waffles and eggs for breakfast and we finally crawled into bed at 10am on the 1st!

2013!
I felt like this was a really awesome time for us to connect with the students from our church. It was really encouraging to be with a group of people who are excited for the things of the Lord. While much of the city was out partying and drinking all night, we began to pray, worship, and get into the Word while we watched the sun rise.

Emily and I are both encouraged and excited to see what the Lord has in store for us this upcoming year as missionaries. We're seeking the Lord for ideas and visions on how we can be used to disciple the saved and reach the lost here in Ukraine!

З Новим роком (Happy New Year)!
